Most people don’t associate cyclists as being environmentalists but one cyclist is capable of preventing 6 tons of global warming gases. Come check out all the fun… I mean serious environmental work that’s going on.

New (‘Cool’) website of the the Baltimore Chapter of CCAN (Chesapeake Climate Action Network) called BCAN:
http://www.baltimoreclimate.org
The features of this site are available to other Baltimore area climate / green advocates, as follows:
A page for public recognition where ordinary citizens can be listed (and their websites linked) for taking small advocacy steps and / or taking steps to reduce their carbon footprint.
A password-protected ‘Members Only’ section (password is available by contacting Joe Adams) where advocates can collaborate (i.e. “Who’s Doing What,” which legislators need more work, sharing info on particular legislators (their contributors, staff contact info, etc.), maybe ghost-written LTE’s, strategy, etc.
Also, an administration password where advocates can update either the public or ‘Members Only’ section, or upload files to share.
My cell is 410-812-1447 and my email is joeadams [at] comcast.net. Please contact me for more “Cool” info.
